The Li’Ma’SEA site is very steep and irregular. We decided to be respectful of the topography and shape the design around the way the land fell. The result is a much more interesting, very angular design with the storeys all oriented slightly differently - much like an offset rubiks cube.
We unconventionally placed the staircase on the Northern side in order to achieve a triple height space for maximum light penetration through the house for a bright, sun-filled home that focused on the amazing views. |
