The brief asked for more space for a growing family incorporating the beach life style into the renovation design. The new top floor level brought in the much needed light + extra space and allowed a double height void in the living area. This gives the living area and the house a relaxed atmosphere. It brings centrality as well as light plus cool breezes in summer. The new deck on the rear creates an extension for the kitchen and dining area and is relaxed for casual summer living. |
